My office is currently accepting applications for the 2013 Congressional District Summer Internship Program.   

The Summer Internship Program is open to students who reside or are enrolled in a degree program at a post-secondary academic institution in the 12^th Congressional District of North Carolina. Students who are interested in learning more about public service, the federal government and the operations of a congressional office are encouraged to apply; however, students pursuing degrees in the social sciences may find the program most applicable to their academic studies.  The term of this year’s summer internship program will be June 3^rd through August 9, 2013.

Applicants should submit a letter of interest, resume and writing sample to my Charlotte District Office 1230 W Morehead Street Suite 306 Charlotte, NC 28208 and to the attention of Tawana Wilson-Allen no later than the March 29, 2013 deadline.
