There has been a sustained assault within the last year on the constitutional right of citizens to vote. Many states purged registered voters from state rolls or passed laws requiring voters to provide identification at the polls before they are allowed to vote. As a result, there are thousands of eligible voters at risk of being turned away from the polls when they attempt to vote.
To help citizens understand these changes and make sure they know what is required for them to vote, the Committee on House Administration has released a new voter registration app. This tool will allow you to check the status of your registration, learn about any new voting requirements and provide all the information needed to successfully register to vote in your state. Click the image to launch the app to learn detailed information on voting registration and requirements in any of the 50 states and 6 territories: |
